Economics Help Room
The EHR will be continuing online this semester via Zoom and moving to in-person tutoring, when possible, thereafter. The hours are drop-in. Below, you will find the schedule listing the review topics as well as the dates and times of the tutoring sessions. The tutors' names are listed in parenthesis. If you did not receive an email with the Zoom sign-in information, please view the schedule with room links here or email the Economics Department Administrator, Regina Roberts (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Tutoring will be available for Intro to Economic Reasoning, Math Methods, Intermediate Macroeconomics, Intermediate Microeconomics, Statistics, and Econometrics. We prioritize Barnard courses and due to differences in teaching methods and topics, we may not be able to help with your Columbia courses. The tutors are your peers, and the EHR is a judgment-free zone. There is no such thing as a stupid question in the EHR!

First and foremost, at the start of the semester, there will be an adjustment period, so not everything will go smoothly at first. You should feel free to send any comments via email to Dept Administrator Regina Roberts (email@example.com) or Dept Chair Professor Randall Reback (firstname.lastname@example.org). All comments will be kept confidential. If you use the EHR, please keep the following in mind:
Second, consider that tutors might not have had the same professor as you do and might not have used the same textbook. Therefore, it will be helpful for them to see how you were taught the material.
